"My family was a part of the diaspora that moved from Dabney Hill in the 1920s when they started migrating out of Black settlements to get better jobs. People went to Chicago. People went to Houston. And my grandfathers? We are descendants".

"Jones was a pretty small school, it came here to Dabney Hill around 53' or 54'. I think there were around 450-500 students there from elementary school to high school students"
